Single Touch Payroll - Replace Lodged Report
A full replacement provides the ability for an employer to replace the latest submit action that was sent to the ATO in error or contains significant corrupt data. Once the replacement is successful, the original data will be replaced with the new submitted data.
- A replacement may only be used to replace the latest successful submit report.
- You are only allowed to replace a lodgement once every 24 hours.
- A replacement cannot apply to an update report.
Replacing a Pay run
This section is for replacing a lodged report that was automatically generated by the payroll system.
- Access the Payroll from the application menu
- Find the required pay run
- Click the STP upload button next to the required payroll
- If this is the final pay for the year, select Yes for the final pay for financial year option
- Enter the name of the person making this declaration
- Accept the SBR agreement
- Click
Why is the replace button is disabled when I try to replace previous pay runs?
Replacement only allowed for the latest successful Submit report, when you try to replace a lodged pay run that is not the last successful Submit report, the replace button will be disabled and you can only lodge an update report.
