Advanced Tasks

Use the invoice advanced tasks to:

Receive Money

You should record all invoice payments to help you track outstanding invoices.

Follow the next steps to receive money or flag an invoice as paid or partially paid:

  1. Access the Advanced Tasks from the invoice menu
  2. Date Range select the date range period and click the search icon
  3. Payment Type select the invoice payment type
  4. Payment Date select the date of payment
  5. Select all paid invoices by placing a check mark next to the required invoice
  6. Click and confirm the payment
Delete Invoices

Follow the next steps to delete an invoice:

  1. Access the Advanced Tasks from the invoice menu
  2. Date Range select the date range period and click the search icon
  3. Select all invoices to be deleted by placing a check mark next to the required invoice
  4. Click and confirm the delete process
Cancel Invoices

Sometimes you might need to keep a copy of the cancelled invoices for auditing purposes, you should use the cancel feature instead of the delete feature.

Follow the next steps to cancel an invoice:

  1. Access the Advanced Tasks from the invoice menu
  2. Date Range select the date range period and click the search icon
  3. Select all invoices to be cancelled by placing a check mark next to the required invoice
  4. Click and confirm the cancel process
  5. When you cancel an invoice, a copy will be kept under the Cancelled Invoice, then the invoice will be deleted.
