Damaged Products

Use the in-house damaged feature to record all damaged items to keep track of what you have.

You should only record damaged items when the item can not be sold as a discounted or any other methods.

Adding Damaged Item

Follow the next steps to add a adamed item:

  1. Access the Product from the application menu
  2. Click In-house Damaged
  3. Click
  4. The add damaged product window appears
    • Product Search search for the damaged product
    • Enter product name, barcode or part of the product description to find the required product.

    • Qty enter the damaged quantity
    • Once the damaged item is added, the following information must be recorded:
      • Product enter the product's name
      • Cost Price enter the cost price
      • Description enter a reason or a description of the damage
      • Qty enter the number of damaged quantities
      • Date enter the date recorded or the date the item got damaged

      You must have enough qty in the stock to dispose, any damaged quantity shall reduce the overall product quantity.

  5. Click Save Changes
Updating Damaged Item

Click the Edit button under the Action column next to the damaged item that you would like to update

Deleting Damaged Item

Click the Delete button under the Action column next to the damaged item that you would like to remove

Removing a damaged item will increase the product's stock quantity.
