Uploading Products' Images

Images are great tool to represent a product, we have provided different methods of attaching images to products.

5 megabyte is the maximum allowed size!

Depends on your subscription plan, you might not be able to upload more than one image per product!

Single Image Upload

Follow the next steps to upload a single image per product:

  1. Access the Product from the application menu
  2. Click Upload Product Image
  3. The upload image window appears
    • Product Search search for the required product by entering product name or part of the description, a list of all matches should be displayed

      • Enter product name, barcode or part of the product description to find the required product.

    • Select the required product from the search result

      • If the selected product has an existing assigned image, a preview of the current image is displayed.

    • Choose File click on the choose file field and select the required image

    5. Depends on the image size and internet connection, the upload might take a bit longer.

    Using the Wholesale Plus Mobile App allows you to capture an image by using the device camera or selecting an existing picture from the device library.

Upload Secondary Images (Multiple Images per Product)

This option is only available for certain subscriptions.

Follow the next steps to upload multiple images per product:

  1. Access the Product from the application menu
  2. Click Upload Product Image
  3. Click
  4. The upload image window appears
    • Product Search search for the required product by entering product name or part of the description, a list of all matches should be displayed

      • Enter product name, barcode or part of the product description to find the required product.

    • Select the required product from the search result

      • If the selected product has exceeded the maximum allowed, an warning message will be displayed.

    • Click Browse and select one or more images

Bulk Uploads

When you have handreds or even thousands of products, it will be a hectic task to upload images one by one, instead you should take advantage of the bulk upload feature to upload all your existing images at once.

You must add all your products prior to using the bulk upload feature

Follow the next steps to upload multiple images per product:

  1. Access the Product from the application menu
  2. Click InStock Products
  3. Click and select Bulk Upload

  4. The bulk upload image window appears
    • Create new folder on your computer, example "images".
    • Copy products images to the new folder.
    • Click to Download Products Catalogue
    • Save the csv file as manifest.csv into the new folder

      • Do not change product_id column!

    • Open the manifest file that you have just downloaded.
    • Type in the image file name next to the relevant product in the column called 'Image_Name'.
    • Save the manifest csv file.
    • The new folder should now have the manifest.csv and products images 'jpg or png'.
    • You need to zip the contents of the new folder.
    • On a Windows computer you can highlight all images and manifest file within the folder.
    • Right click and Click "Send to" and select Click Compressed (zipped) folder.
