Managing Customers' Beneficiaries

A beneficiary is a person receiving funds from a customer, every time a customer sends money, you must assign a beneficiary to the money transfer transactions.

We may refer to beneficiaries as Receivers in some cases, both names represent the same term.

With every beneficiary, you can:

Adding a Beneficiary

You can only add a beneficiary when you process a money transfer transaction.

Attaching Beneficiary ID

You can only attach an ID when you process an incoming transfer transaction

Attaching beneficiary ID is only available to local beneficiaries.

Updating a Beneficiary

Beneficiary details can be updated when a transfer transaction is record, or it can be also updated from within the customer's details

Follow the next steps to update a beneficiary:

  1. Access Customers from the application menu
  2. Click Manage Customers
  3. Click the Edit button under the Action column next to the customer that you would like to update a beneficiary details
  4. The customer's details window appears
    • Click Beneficiaries tab
    • Click next to the required beneficiary
    • The beneficiary window appears
      • All bold fields are required and must be provided.

      • Type select the beneficiary type
      • For non-individual local beneficiaries, you should provide a valid ABN.

      • Full Name enter the beneficiary's full name
      • Contact Details enter beneficiary's contact details such as phone numbers and email address if applicable
      • Address Details enter beneficiary's address details
      • For overseas beneficiaries, ensure you provide an accurate address, you should collect as much information as you can regarding the beneficiary's overseas address.

        For Australian customers, type the first few letters of the suburb name and select from the search result.

      • Bank Account enter beneficiary's bank account details
      • The bank account added here is identified as the main beneficiary account, you can however add more bank accounts if required.

    • Click
Deleting a Beneficiary

Click the Delete button under the Action column next to the beneficiary that you would like to remove

Beneficiaries with transfers transactions can not be deleted.

Beneficiaries Bank Accounts

Follow the next steps to view or update beneficiary;s bank account:

  1. Access Customers from the application menu
  2. Click Manage Customers
  3. Click the Edit button under the Action column next to the customer that you would like to update a beneficiary details
  4. The customer's details window appears
    • Click Beneficiaries tab
    • Click next to the required beneficiary
    • The bank account window appears
      • All bold fields are required and must be provided.

      • Bank select the required bank account
      • To add new bank account, select New Bank Account.

      • Bank Account enter beneficiary's bank account details
    • Click

    To delete a bank account, select the bank account and click

    Bank accounts assigned to one or more transfers transactions can not be deleted.
