Changing Customer's Type

Sometimes you might choose the wrong customer's type when adding new customer, this feature allows you to correct the mistake wihout having to delete and re-create customer's details.

When changing from a Business to Individual, you must consider if the current business has assigned employees or not, as once you switch from business to individual, the employees list will not be visible any longer.

Follow the next steps to import customers:

  1. Access Customers from the application menu
  2. Click Change Customer
  3. The change customer window appears
    • Change select the type of change
    • Changing to Business enter the customer's business name and ABN.
    • A valid ABN must be provided, you should always ensure that the ABN is active.

    • Changing to Individual enter the customer's first, given (optional), and last names.
